Frequently Asked Questions
How do the tinctures and breath sprays work differently than the capsules?
Cannabis tinctures and breath sprays are applied orally and absorb into the mouth’s tissues and blood vessels. Cannabinoids – such as Δ⁹-THC, THCa, CBD, CBDa, CBN, etc. – enter the bloodstream faster this way than by passing through the digestive tract. Tinctures and breath sprays can therefore take effect in as little as 10-15 minutes. Capsules, however, can take 30-90 minutes to kick in because they’re simply swallowed rather than held in the mouth.
When capsules pass through the digestive tract, the Δ⁹-THC takes on a different form: 11-Hydroxy-THC. The effects of this cannabinoid are noticeably heavier on the body, relaxing the muscles, joints and tendons while also affecting the mind. This experience can last upwards of 5 hours for some people. Tinctures and breath sprays, on the other hand, provide a more cerebral experience by delivering the original Δ⁹-THC straight to the bloodstream, with the effects lasting not quite as long.
How do they taste?
Our capsules have little to no taste of cannabis whatsoever. The breath sprays come in a classic mint flavor, and most of the tinctures are made with a sweet food-grade vegetable glycerin. The exception is the 20:1 tincture, which is made with a less viscous MCT oil that benefits the digestive tract. Fats are so important in the absorption of CBD that we felt compelled to use this formula for the 20:1 ratio.
When should I use your CBD products, either a 1:1 ratio or a 20:1?
1:1 is a perfect balance of the cannabinoids THC and CBD. Scientific studies have shown that THC is the chemical responsible for cannabis’ psychoactive effects, whereas CBD benefits the body in many ways while keeping the mind clear. People looking to treat bodily pain, anxiety, or PTSD may be searching for a CBD 1:1 product. A 1:1 ratio is also great for hangovers.
Studies also show that CBD can be more effective with the presence of THC, which is why the 1:1 products are so popular with CBD fans who don’t mind a small buzz. If you want little to no psychoactive effects but strong pain relief, then a 20:1 ratio is the right choice.
How many doses are in your products?

Yes. Cannabis is a biphasic substance, which means it has different effects based on the quantity consumed. In high doses cannabis can affect the body like a sedative, but in lower doses – even as low as 2mg THC – the body is slightly stimulated and euphoric, with little to no disorienting effects. Breath sprays are therefore great for people looking for subtle mood enhancement while staying clear-headed.
